Her Story
A Little Piece of Peru in Every Bite
Eva arrived in the United States straight out of high school in Trujillo, Peru — full of ambition and a deep love for her culture. She enrolled at Arizona State University and earned a degree in Accounting, building a career that let her give back to the communities around her.
But somewhere between the spreadsheets and the community work, she kept coming back to the kitchen. To the smell of dulce de leche warming on the stove. To the joy on people's faces when they tasted something made with real love and real Peruvian tradition.
That pull became impossible to ignore. Eva made the leap — trading her accounting career for an apron and a rolling pin — and Sweet As Eva was born. Her mission is simple: to show the world what Peru has to offer through its pastries, desserts, and savory bites, one treat at a time.
